People are always asking us,
"What is that? 'Wealthyself'?" So let us break it down.
"Wealth" is currently defined as a state of being rich; prosperity; affluence. It is also defined as a great quantity or store of money, valuable possessions, property or other riches. However, when traced to it's roots, wealth, quite simply, means "well being". "Wealthy"is one who lives in a state of well being; it defines a state of abundance, or profusion of anything; that which is rich is character, quality or amount; that which is abundant or ample. Finally, "self", although one could philosophize forever over what defines the self, for simplicty purposes of this site, can be defined as a person's nature, character or state of being. It's you.
"WealthySelf" defines the person living an abundant life, rich in character, valuable assets, and of course, ample finances to play out the life we choose to live. WealthySelf is a reflective state of well being, it is harmonic wealth, inclusive of the five pillars of true wealth: Financial, Relational, Mental, Physical and Spiritual. money alone does not consititue wealth. You may have more money than you know what to do with, but if you are spiritually and emotionally bankrupt, it is not sustainable and it is not true wealth.
Our business, WealthySelf Associates, exists with the purpose of sharing with you the principles and recognition of opportunities required to create a WealthySelf lifestyle.
We are Samantha and Jeffrey Cleveland.
Although our site,
www.wealthyself.org, and our business itself is about YOU ~ the person seeking a vehicle and iron-clad blueprint to living the life YOU choose ~ let us tell a little about ourselves.
First and foremost, we're two REAL people. Truth be told, there is nothing extraordinary about us...no more so than your extraordinary self, anyway. We are the parents of four children, ranging from kindergarten age to college; we live in New Hampshire, we love to garden, go to the beach, kayak, travel, pick berries, cook, bake, write music, read, spend time with the people we love... you know, do the things that others like to do. Then again, we also do things that many others do not necessarily like to do, namely, to step out of our heads (and into our greatness!) if our thoughts and actions are not providing us with the results we actually choose. If there is anything different about us, that is it. Everyone will say that want something "more" in life- whether it's financially, mentally, spiritually, physically or in their relationships, but when it comes to having to DO something about it, most people won't. They'd rather stay stuck than change, because struggle-to-maintain has been the comfort zone of our lives, versus challenge-to-grow. When you "struggle-to-maintain", atleast you know what you're going to get: more struggle to maintain. When you challenge-to-grow, the possibilities are expansive, limitless, exciting- and with that unknown, often comes FEAR. And as two real people, believe it when we say we're not exempt at having done this, lived that way, ourselves. Now, as coaches and perpetual students alike, we can assist others on their paths with what we've learned on ours.
