The Soul Room was established in November of 2007, as a division of The Gentlemen's Barber Shoppe, Body & Soul, which is located in the heart of historic downtown Manchester, NH. The Barber Shoppe is an unscale lofty environment that caters to the needs of it clients whether it be professional grooming service, an interested ear, a comforting scalp massage, full body massage and/or the gentle touch of Reiki to rejuvinate a tired soul. The Barber Shoppe is divided into two rooms. The Barber Shoppe for your professional grooming services and The Soul Room where the energies of your body and soul are addressed. Each room has a seperate entrance Attention Ladies You are welcome here too! The Soul Room or the Barber Shoppe are not gender prejudice. We just tend to cater to men and specialize in men's hair service. But, we do have the experience and the ability to handle your needs in any area. The Soul Room was a direct result of Christie LaValley hearing her clients deep seeded needs, whether they consciously heard them or not. With that she decided to no longer fight the gift bestowed on her years earlier, but to use it professionally to help others heal from their undermining illnesses or demons. The gift of Reiki. Christie for the last 4 years has watched her children go through the healing process after losing their father to suicide. Suicide is often the soul's last attempt to heal the pains of this world. Christie had to keep herself balanced, strong and emotionally healthy to assist her children to her best potential. It was with the gift of Reiki, meditation and spiritual education that Christie was able to heal herself to help her children stay strong through their healing process after such a great loss. The Soul Room is just that now... a place you can come to find the help you need. A place you can come to find great books on healing or other tools for healing. A place you can come to sit for a while and learn meditation or take a class . A place to come to experience a personalized or standard Reiki treatment or a great massage. A place to come when you need the added boost of willpower through hypnotism to assist you to kick a bad habit or lose weight. It is a place to learn about healthy living and weightloss techiques. The staff of The Soul Room is completely dedicated to helping you through any healing process.
