Amid two large snow falls and a historic ice storm to mark the beginning of winter in the Queen City, Manchester is still alive with holiday cheer as we head into the week of Christmas and Hanukkah. Store fronts are aglow, children are hushed with anticipation and families are coming together to celebrate the holidays. The Christmas season is one of my favorite times of the year, and I am greatly looking forward to spending time with friends and family.

I would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy Hanukkah, and hope each and everyone is able to spend time this season with loved ones. Also, please join me in thanking our men and women in uniform, and wishing them a wonderful holiday wherever they may be. These men and women sacrifice on our behalf, and in many cases are not afforded Christmas with their families. Keep them in your minds this Holiday Season.

Merry Christmas and Happy Hanukkah!Frank C. GuintaMayor
